Noah Hyman


With over 20 years of clinical experience in Rehabilitation and Fitness fields, Noah is attentive, compassionate and understands the needs of an individual who is in pain. Having graduated from the Steinhardt School of Education at NYU in 1994 with a degree in Physical Therapy, Noah always wanted to make a difference in people’s lives. He has attained advanced training through courses specializing in Mobilization techniques (Maitland and Paris Mobilizations , Muscle Energy), Soft Tissue Mobilization, advanced Rehabilitation of the Shoulder, Knee and Ankle, The Rehabilitation of the Golf Injuries and Performance Enhancement of the Golf Swing and various courses in the Current Concepts of both Adult and Youth Sports Medicine.

Noah’s extensive background in orthopedic and sports medicine includes diverse outpatient clinics throughout the New York metropolitan area. He was affiliated with Beth Israel Medical Center (North and South) and interned for Hospital for Joint Diseases and The Brooklyn Hospital Center.

Noah founded First Health Physical Therapy in 2001 because he saw a growing need to provide compassionate and genuine care customized to each individual. He is currently affiliated with NYU, American Physical Therapy Association, NY Physical Therapy Association and National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).

Noah was featured in the book Bone Density Diet: 6 Weeks to a Strong Mind and Body by Dr. George Kessler, MD, on Osteoporosis prevention.

Paul Hartmann DPT

Physical Therapist

Paul received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Boston University, which included clinical training in Sydney, Australia with a leading manual therapist combining McKensie, Maitland, Muscle Energy techniques and the latest in Neurodynamic techniques. While down under Paul participated in training the highest level paramedics in New South Wales, Australia to determine appropriate referral of patients suffering from non-traumatic lower back pain and decrease the systemic load on Hospital emergency departments

Paul began his career at The Mount Sinai Sports Physical Therapy Center and after a short move to Detroit was pleased to return to New York and The Mount Sinai Beth Israel Center for Health and Healing, joining the movement towards integrative medical care.  Paul brings his training and skills in treating orthopedic, neurological and musculoskeletal injuries to First Health Physical Therapy to help patients return to the life and activities they love. Paul practices according to the philosophy of No Problems, Only Solutions.

Marta Mamos MPT

McKenzie Certified Spine Specialist

Marta Mamos, MPT graduated with honors from the University School of Physical Education in Wroclaw, Poland in 2003 where she obtained the degree of Master in Physiotherapy. Marta has been a practicing physical therapist in the United States since January 2007 with a focus on orthopedic and sports rehabilitation. She has treated patients in all age groups, ranging from the weekend warrior to the professional athlete.

Marta continually dedicates herself to professional development with a variety of continuing education courses to enhance her manual and assessment skills. She is particularly interested in McKenzie and Maitland assessments and treatments of spine disorders. Marta is also a Certified Ergonomics Assessment Specialist and is qualified to evaluate your workstation and implement necessary changes to help to keep your back and neck healthy and pain-free. She is dedicated to providing personalized, quality care to all of her patients, encouraging active participation in a fun and straightforward path to recovery. Patients motivated to get better will get the most out of their time with Marta.
